I have been involved in marketing and marketing communications for over twenty-five years. In that time I've worked with companies of all sizes, in just about every market sector, in countries throughout Europe, in the Middle East as well as Australia and the US.

My early career was spent learing the ropes in advertising and other marketing communications agencies. I worked with some of the large advertising groups including McCann Erickson and sat on the board at Ted Bates and Saatchi & Saatchi in London. However, my interests soon broadened, firstly to integrated marketing communications and later to embrace the bigger and more fundamental issue of business development. Over the years I've helped failing companies to recovery, assisted successful companies to become more successful, launched new products, established new divisions, opened up new territories, even created new companies from scratch.

I started The Full Effect Company ten years ago in response to the growing demand from larger organisations for faster more efficient marketing communications that would keep them ahead of the game in what was becoming a far more competitive and faster moving world market. Today my clients range from new enterprises who are looking for the best possible start, or young companies looking to attract new business, to multinationals wanting to move into new territories or strengthen global brands.

When I began talking to companies about integrated solutions to business marketing and marketing communications problems some members of the old school of marketing were pretty dismissive. The industry wasn't set up to deliver an integrated solution and the fortunes of many leading marketing communications agencies depended upon keeping the many marketing communications disciplines separate and competitive. However, it was never the most efficient way for client companies to go, it wasted effort and investment in many ways but at that time there was no alternative available to business. These days, I think almost eveyone recognises the wisdom of an integrated approach and I often work with some of the bigger advertising agency groups, helping them to adapt and broaden their offer.
